My roommate recently got me into Florence and the Machine and now I can't stop listening to her. This English band that was started in 2007 creates music that can really only be described as "rock soul". Florence Welch has a powerhouse voice that can make you feel powerful enough to start a revolution.
Personally, I enjoy their second album more than their first but they are both worth checking out.
